I've lived and breathed Real Estate since I was 11 years old - I grew up the daughter of one of York Region's most successful real estate sales representatives, and I managed open houses, attended appointments, prepped paperwork, and sat in on negotiations on weekends and holidays from grade school to high school. After university, I put those client experience and management skills to work in the ad world, rising quickly in the ranks of domestic & international advertising agencies, with demanding blue chip clients.
I loved the fast paced ad agency life, where client service and results were something you lived and died by, and consistently designing successful marketing plans, measuring them, and redesigning to achieve immediate profitable outcomes were the name of the game. When I decided to make the move to real estate, first partnering with the family business and then building my own network, I brought this aggressive approach to my team, completely redesigning how we market homes, proactively targeting potential Buyers & Sellers, and building on my family's years of real estate experience to build a database of potential Buyers & Sellers, Centers of Influence and Strategic Alliances that continue to benefit our clients.
At the same time, I put my money where my mouth is - and began my personal experiences in real estate early - buying not only for personal use but also as an investment. From rip-it-apart-with-a-sledgehammer- DYI reno's, to a professional full-gut reno, to condo investing, to turning a 2 story into a legal duplex - I've done it all and have the scars to prove it! This experience has become a tremendous resource for first timers and seasoned real estate buyers alike. I know what works, what doesn't work, and where the hidden costs and pitfalls lurk.
I hold sales awards for every single year of my career, and became a Re/Max Hall of Fame member in almost record time, but the benchmark of my success is the happiness and satisfaction of my clients.
